Outside of playing harp, Kara spends her time playing video games. She was inspired to play the harp from her love of the character, Sheik, in the 1998 classic, Ocarina of Time!

If you want to have harp music at your next special event that speaks to a certain nostalgia or the video game player in you— ask Kara about putting together a video game-themed playlist for your next event! Kara is happy to take special requests for specific songs for wedding ceremonies as well.

If you’d like to see an orchestra play your favorite themes from games, check out the Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra (WMGSO). The WMGSO is a nonprofit community orchestra whose mission is to share video game music by putting on affordable, accessible concerts in the D.C. area. Kara performs with the gamer symphony orchestra 2-3 times per year and is actively working on a CD of Final Fantasy music coming out in Fall 2023!
